Spider Bites!

Ooooooohhh . . . Scarey!
These scrumptious glass delicacies were requested as a special order by a collector at Carlyn Gallery in Dallas. These are so fabulous that we have decided to add them to our line. They should be up on the website in the next few days. Meanwhile we posted this photo on our Facebook page and have already gotten several orders. Any more good ideas for the Holidays?????

Goat TV

At least 4 or 5 times a week I walk from my house to a local park. That park is part of the Community Services District Wastewater Management Facility and it has a 1.5 miles long nature trail. Once we get to the park, we follow the trail around the treatment ponds where the dogs get to do one of their favorite things. We call it watching "Goat TV". The goats are the lawn mowing crew for the Services District.

Every year there is usually a flock of 30 or more Wild Canadian geese that stop by to enjoy the ponds and breed. At certain times of the year, there are lots of baby geese waddling and swimming.

Contemporary Glass Wind Chimes

For some unknown reason we have recently been inundated with requests for our wind chimes from past buyers.

We began creating our tuned glass wind chimes in the '70s and sold countless numbers of them through galleries, gift shops, and various major national gift and garden catalogs. Over the years we have retired them from our production line only to bring them back into production when demand rises. Now appears to be the time for them to make a reappearance.

The chimes are carefully tuned to the pitches of a major chord. They were designed to be hung indoors near a window or anywhere there may be a breeze. They are also perfect for outdoors on the patio, deck, porch, or in the garden. One buyer reported to us that she has a set hanging in her garden and, due to the transparency of the glass, guests are stumped as to where the melodious sounds originate.

The wind chimes are currently available through Gregory's of Salado or online at Malmsey's.
